Highschool Reunion
Back in September of 2009, I was asked to take photographs at the 20 year reunion party for the class of 1989 of Elizabethtown High School (my alma mater as well). Holy cow--how does 20 years fly by so quickly? I graduated a year under this class, so my 20 year is this fall. Hard to believe my own children are closer to being in high school than I am from my graduation! The event was held at the Elizabethtown Country Club, which is a common venue for this type of event in E-town, and I've shot (and attended) wedding receptions there as well, most recently, Katie and Brian. Everyone had a great time, and it was wonderful to see so many friends, many of whom I haven't seen much, if any, during the past 20 years. That is so hard to believe, as well as how quickly old friendships were renewed like no time at all had passed.
As I said, my 20 year reunion is coming up, and I'm helping with the planning this year. I went through last year's photos, just reminiscing about old times and friends. Shooting the reunion was tons of fun, and a bit out of the ordinary from my usual gigs. If you have a reunion, or any kind of party coming up, give me a call! I've shot everything from Mardi Gras parties to kid's birthdays, and with Derby right around the corner, there are lots of events going on. Wouldn't it be a neat party favor to provide your guests with a gallery of photos covering the event? Special coverage and print packages are available, just ask!
